Jae Son National Park

Thai Elephant Conservation Center

Experience one of Asia's most famous animals, the elephant, and see first-hand these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Learn their habits in a local and welcoming ambience. This conservation center also houses "Chang Ton", which is an elephant with deep ties to Thailand's Royal Family.

EGAT Mae Mo Garden

Located within the Mae Mo electricity plant, this is one of the location with ties to Lampang's economy, providing locals with jobs and a place to relax in. This Mae Mo Garden is a sight to behold, amidst all the operations it takes to run one of Thailand's largest electricty generating plant.

Kiew Lom Dam

One of the best rafting places in Lampang, just to soak in the beautiful, relaxing nature and listen to the surrounding ambient noises. Highly recommended to take a half-day trip here, due to the many sightseeing places within this dam such as the Lam Chao Kuern, Pha Kiang, Pha Ngam, the Pink Lake, or the fishermen's village. Once visited, this Kiew Lom Dam will be a very memorable experience that you'll remember for a long time.

Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Prachomklao Rachanusorn

Well known to both locals and natives in the name of Wat Phra Putttabat Pu Pha Daeng, this is one of another sightseeing place which has been dubbed in "Unseen Thailand", due to the skyhigh white pagoda on top of the mountain of Doi Pu Yak. The surrounding backdrop is full of lush greenery, along with ever flowing wind that lets you bask in the nature of this place in a full 360, panoramic experience.

A walking street that may very well be one of Lampang's signature, well reknowned for its handicraft and local products. Another place to shop at is the Kad Tung Kiwan Market, and for those who travels up north via Highway 1 will have surely passed. This market specialises in rare products of the forest, along with Northen Thailand's renowned Pork Crisps, Nam Prik Nhoom. Other things worth looking for in this market are the OTOP products, ceramic and handmade handicrafts which Lampang is well known for, along with other souveneirs.
